These boards are bare, but what a great idea! Are you still getting decent traffic to this site? I’m not trying to sell anything, I’m just interested in the info you have here. I’d like to see some activity and such. Lots of great categories here, and many of your article reviews are very helpful and informative.

The site was up for a while before the Discussion Forums were added.

Perhaps it will just take some time until people are used to posting information in the Forums.

May I suggest a “Shangri-La” thread?

I’d also like to see a thread concerning weight loss for children.

also, I don’t know how you feel about people mentioning their own sites, so I hope it’s OK to mention that I’ve posted several descriptions of my family’s experience with Shangri La at the math education website I write with mathematician Carolyn Johnston, in case you’re interested.

Our site, Kitchen Table Math is hard to find; apparently TWiki is invisible to Google. It’s also hard to open. (TWiki seems to search the entire site to find the front page, so the more the site grows, the larger it gets. Something like that.) If you or others want to take a look at the diet posts, the most efficient thing to do would be to go to the search page and search for Shangri-La:

I can’t tell if the WSJ article has brought new people or not.

I think it would just be better to only have one large forum instead of the 10-15 small ones that you have now. That way people have an easier time keeping track of new posts and whatnot, and all discussion can just take place in that one forum.
