GINGER
Ginger works as well as sumatriptan for migraine headaches; 88% vs 86% report high satisfaction
Ginger powder works as well as the drug sumatriptan for treatment of migraine headaches and with fewer side effects according to a double-blind study from Zanjan University Of Medical Sciences in Iran which randomly assigned 100 patients with acute migraine to receive either sumatriptan or ginger.
High satisfaction was reported by 88% of those given ginger versus 86% of those given sumatriptan.
