U.S. OBESITY & INCOME
U.S. obesity: 31% who earn less than $25,000 per year are obese verses 25% who earn $50,000 per year
“Obesity rates vary by income. More than 31 percent of adults (ages 18 and above) who earn less than $25,000 per year were obese, compared with 25.4 percent of those who earn at least $50,000 per year.,” according to the 2013 report titled F as in Fat: How Obesity Policies are Failing in America, 2013 from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation who has been publishing this report for 10 years.
