Loud snoring is associated with belly fat and age according to a study from France.

“[L]oud snoring was associated with gasping/snorting during sleep, breathing stops during sleep, waking up too early, excessive daytime sleepiness and falling asleep while watching TV,” the authors noted.

“[L]oud snoring could be considered a clinical correlate of obstructive sleep apnoeas,” the authors concluded.
