The more frequent a person eats, the more likely they are to be fat, at least for postmenopausal women this is the case. This according to a study from Harokopio University in Athens, Greece. This was not the case for premenopausal women. Comment: Frequency leads to quantity when eating ‘trigger foods’
Comment: It may depend on what you eat. If you eat a small amount of protein every 3-4 hours, it may reduce cravings and help you to prevent weight gain. However, if you are eating foods that you crave or love, “trigger foods” as Dr. Stephen Gullo calls them, such as sweets, an increase in frequency leads to an increase in quantity.
Dr. Stephen Gullo pointed this out, saying:
“An increase in frequency leads to an increase in quantity,” Dr. Gullo stated. “This is very important to understand. It took me about ten years to realize this.”
Dr. Stephen Gullo calls this the “F-Q Principle”.
