Children who watch more than 2 hours of television per day are 32% more likely to obese

Children who watch two hours or more of television per day are 44 percent more likely to be overweight and 32 percent more likely to be obese compared to those who watch less than two hours per day according to a study from Columbia. Subjects
Subjects: 11,137 children, 5-12 years-old
The study included 11,137 children who were 5- to 12-years-old and were part of the National Nutrition Survey in Colombia from 2005.
Overweight
11% overweight or obese
Among these children, 11.1 percent were overweight or obese.
