College education reduces risk of obesity 40% in men, 27% in women

Among people who have a college education, the risk of obesity is 40 percent lower in men and 27 percent lower in women according to a study from Vara, Sweden, a rural community in the southwestern Sweden, that measured obesity rates from 1977 to 2002. Subjects
Subjects : 3365 People, 30-60 years-old
The study analyzed data from 3365 people—1634 men and 1731 women—who were 30- to 60-years-old.
