Girls who consumed 2 servings of alcohol per week gained 0.7 pounds more over a period of a year than girls who did not consume alcohol according to a study from researchers at the Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
The study surveyed 5502 girls who were 14- to 21-years-old, however, this data was limited to those 18 to 21. REFERENCE
