Lost days at work per 100 workers: 184 days for extremely obese workers vs 14 for normal weight

For every 100 full time employees, extremely obese workers (BMI 40 or more) had 184 lost days versus 14 days for normal weight workers according to a study from Duke University. Subjects
Subjects: 11,728 employees
The study analyzed data from 11,728 health care and university employees who saw the doctor at least once between January 1, 1997, and December 31, 2004.
