I just got off the phone with my good friend, 75-year-old Eddie Ford, MD, and asked him about his experience with giving patients HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) 20 and 30 years ago. He's very open-minded and the smartest person I've ever met.

I asked him if he ever used it for weight loss. He said, "No." Weight Loss Reported?

Did patients report weight loss? No.

I asked him if patients he gave it to every reported losing weight. He said, “No.”

 

PMS

He used it for PMS

I asked him what he used it for. He said, “PMS. It worked very quickly. I remember women crying at the counter when they came into the office, and after giving them a shot of HCG, they’d leave the office smiling and laughing. It worked very quickly.”

 

How Does HCG Make You Feel?

Happy and energetic

I asked him if he ever tried it himself. He said, “Yes. It made me feel great. I felt happy and energetic.”

 

How Long Does the Feeling Last?

Six days

I asked him how long the feeling lasted. He said, “About 6 days.”

 

Dose

Dose: 1 cc

I asked him what dose he used. He said, “One cc.” I don’t know what this translates to as far as milligrams.

 

Subcutaneous Injections

HCG given subcutaneously (under the skin)

I asked him if he gave the injections subcutaneously (under the skin). He said, “Yes.”

 

Rheumatoid Arthritis

HCG might help with rheumatoid arthritis

I asked him if he ever found it useful for an other conditions. He said, “It might help with rheumatoid arthritis. I had one patient with back pain that was helped with shots of HCG.”

 

Panacea in 1930’s and 40’s

His father gave HCG as panacea in 1930’s and 40’s

He said that his father, who was also a physician, gave injections of HCG to patients in the 1930’s and 40’s for a variety of conditions, kind of as a panacea, because he did not have a lot of other medicines to work with.
