For 30 years, Joan Mathews Larson, PhD has been treating addiction, anxiety and depression with natural supplements in order to correct the underlying biochemical problems which cause these conditions.

In this video clip, she notes that according to research done by Stephen Gyland, MD, a physician who had hypoglycemia himself and took years to figure it out, looked at symptoms in 1200 of his hypoglycemic patients, hypoglycemia can cause the following symptoms:

“Stephen Gyland, MD was a doctor who was hypoglycemic himself.

“He tried to get some help for what was wrong with him… he did know what was wrong with him.

“He came up to the Mayo Clinic, and they didn’t know what was wrong with them.

“Finally, when he didn’t put it together, he became obsessed with treating hypoglycemia.

“He put together 1200 hypoglycemia patients… their symptoms, and what percentage suffered what symptoms.

    “Look at those symptoms.

“These are the symptoms that psychiatrists prescribe drugs for.

    “Nervousness… irritability… exhaustion… faintness… drummers… sweats… depression…

“You get all the way down to the last one… 20%, or one-ffth of them, have suicidal intent.

“So when you consider that almost every alcoholic is hypoglycemic, we have a responsibility to treat this.”

“So how do we treat it?”

Dr. Larson is the author of “7 Weeks to Sobriety”, “Depression Free”, and “7 Weeks to Emotional Healing”.
