Side effects with lorcaserin hydrochloride, a drug being developed by Area Pharmaceuticals, included dry mouth which occurred in
- 5.4% of patients given 10 mg twice a day
- 3.4% of patients given 10 mg once a day
- 2.3% of patients given a placebo.
