Fish oil plus walking causes 3.5 lbs fat loss in 3 months vs 0.4 lbs with sunflower oil

Six capsules of fish oil per day (6000 mg containing 1900 mg of omega-3 fatty acids) plus walking 45 minutes, three days per week caused people to lose an average of roughly 3.5 pounds of body fat versus 0.4 pounds for those given the equivalent amount of sunflower oil according to a recent study. Muscle
Fish oil plus walking group gained 0.5 lbs of muscle vs 1.2 lbs loss of muscle in the sunflower group
Those given fish oil plus walking also gained roughly 0.5 pounds of muscle versus a 1.2 pound loss of muscle in the sunflower group.
Subjects
Subjects: 28 men, 53 women, 25-65 years-old
The study involved 28 men and 53 women, 25- to 65-years-old, with a body mass index (BMI) greater than 25.
