Women who lift weights decrease their fat intake, and the stronger they got the less fat they ate according to a recent study.
Those with the smallest, medium, and largest gains in strength decreased fat intake by 0.9%, 5.9%, and 6.8%, respectively.
There was a tendency for body fat to decrease and lean body mass to increase, however, weight did not change.
A previous study found no such effect on fat intake in men.
