In a study of the SSRI antidepressant paroxetine (Paxil) in adolescents, 8 children developed suicidal thoughts while on the drug, but the study published in a medical journal did NOT mention any of these 8 children, and instead said that there was only one (1) adverse event related to the drug, a headache in one person, notes Prof. Peter Gotzsche, MD in this video clip.
Prof. Peter Gotzsche, MD cofounded the Cochrane Collaboration in 1993.
It is a non-profit organization of scientists around the world who analyze data to try and figure out the truth about drugs and other health topics.
