Patients Lose 77% Of Their Excess Weight One-Year After Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy

Patients who had Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, a surgical procedure that removes two-thirds of the stomach, had lost 77% of their excess bodyweight one-year after surgery.
Approximately 51% had complete remission of their diabetes one-year after surgery, and 46% had remission of their hypertension.
