Asymptomatic transmission of Covid-19 is very rare says WHO

“What proportion of asymptomatic individuals actually transmit [Covid-19]? “ said Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, the technical lead of COVID-19 response and the head of emerging diseases and zoonosis unit at the World Health Organization.
“We have a number of reports from countries who are doing very detailed contact tracing. They’re following asymptomatic cases. They’re following contacts. And they’re not finding secondary transmission onward. It’s very rare.”
