The WHO overestimated predicted deaths as much as 49-fold.
The WHO estimated that 2.0 to 7.4 million people could die worldwide, whereas the CDC estimates that only 151,000 to 575,000 people died worldwide.
More than half the experts who were advising WHO (11 of 20) had ties to drug companies.
Drug companies made an additional $18 billion in revenues from the fear created.
