U.S. Food Consumption: Dairy products intake has increased 3% since 1970

From 1970 to 1997, U.S. intake of dairy products increased 3 percent per person, from 564 pounds to 580 pounds per person according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service.
