    Antipsychotic drug weight gain: Zyprexa: 9.1 lbs in two-and-a-half-months

    A standard dose of the antipsychotic drug Zyprexa (olanzapine) causes an average weight gain of 9.1 pounds in two-and-a-half-months according to recent analysis.

    Placebo was associated with a weight loss of 1.6 pounds.
