Antipsychotic drug weight gain: Nipolept: 4 lbs in one month

The antipsychotic drug Nipolept (zotepine), which is not available in the U.S., causes an average of weight gain of 5.1 pounds in one month according to recent review paper from Germany.
Nipolept (zotepine) has been used in Germany since 1990 and in Japan since 1982.
