Adult obesity in the U.S. highest in Louisiana at 34.7%, Lowest in Colorado at 20.5%

“Of the [U.S.] states with the 20 highest adult obesity rates, only Pennsylvania is not in the South or Midwest.
“For the first time in eight years, Mississippi no longer has the highest rate—Louisiana at 34.7 percent is the highest, followed closely by Mississippi at 34.6 percent.
“Colorado had the lowest rate at 20.5 percent.”
This is according to the 2013 report titled F as in Fat: How Obesity Policies are Failing in America, 2013 from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation who has been publishing this report for 10 years.
