Each additional serving of sugar-sweetened beverages increased the risk of obesity in 12-year-old children by 60 percent according to a recent study by researchers from Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Subjects
Subjects : 548 children
The study involved 548 ethnically-diverse school children with an average age of 11.7 years from public schools in four Massachusetts communities, and followed them for one year and seven months from October, 1995, to May, 1997.
