Each increase in consumption of one (1) cup of coffee per day was associated with a 6% lower risk of death in non-smokers over some number of years according to an analysis of 31 studies including a total of 1,610,543 people.
“In conclusion, coffee consumption is associated with decreased risk of mortality from all-cause, [ cardiovascular disease ], and cancer,” the authors of the paper concluded.
