The amount of money spent on fast food in the U.S. has increased 18-fold over the past 30 years, from $6 billion to $110 billion, according to a report titled F as in Fat: How Obesity Policies Are Failing in America, 2008 from the Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
