How many lives could have been saved if the U.S. would have used hydroxychloroquine, with or without azithromycin and zinc, to treat Covid-19?

4,076 people had died from Covid-19 in the US as of April 1, 2020 when infectious disease specialist Stephen Smith, MD said, “It’s a game changer [referring to using hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin]. This is the beginning of the end of the pandemic.”

On July 7, 2020, 133,644 people in the U.S. had died from Covid-19.
