Depression is more common in people who are obese.

For 30 years, Joan Mathews Larson, PhD has been treating addiction, anxiety and depression with natural supplements in order to correct the underlying biochemical problems which cause these conditions.

In this video clip, she notes that anxiety and depression are not "personality traits", nor can a nutritional deficiency be corrected with "talk therapy".

“I’m going to go through some of what we do to identify and repair these glitches that counselors think are ‘personality traits’, and psychiatrists think are the making of a lifelong client.

“Depression and anxiety are the most common.”

Dr. Larson is the author of “7 Weeks to Sobriety”, “Depression Free”, and “7 Weeks to Emotional Healing”.
