Normal weight men lost 6.9 lbs of fat on a low carbohydrate diet containing only 8% carbohydrates

Normal weight men lost an average of 6.9 pounds of body fat and gained 2.4 pounds of muscle in six week by eating a very low carbohydrate diet that contained only 8 percent carbohydrates rather than their usual 48 percent carbohydrates according to a study from researchers at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, USA. Subjects
Subjects: 20 men eating low-carb, 8 men as controls eating normally
The study involved 20 healthy normal-weight men who ate the low carbohydrate diet and 8 men who acted as controls, consuming their normal diet.
