One-forth of men and one-third of women in China are overweight

A little more than one-forth of men (26.9 percent) and a little less than one-third of women (31.1 percent) in China are overweight according to a new study.
For comparison, about two-thirds of Americans are overweight.
Overweight is defined as having a body mass index (BMI) greater than 25.
