    OBESE PARENTS ARE MORE COMMON among obese females than obese males, and are more common in blacks than whites.

    Also, the younger a child is when they become obese the heavier they become as adults.

    These results were obtained after reviewing the records of 3,227 obese adults over the past three decades.
