    Women who reported sleeping 5 hours of sleep or less gained 2.4 pounds more over a sixteen year period than women who reported sleeping 7 hours per night according to a study from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. 6 Hours Sleep

    Women who reported getting 6 hours of sleep per night gained 1.5 pounds more during the sixteen year follow-up than those getting seven hours per night.
