This 4-year study found that the combination of two cholesterol-lowering drugs - Zocor (a statin) plus Zetia - did NOT reduce the total risk of death.
In fact, the overall death rate was 4% higher in people given these drugs.
This may have been due to random chance, but at the very least, it shows that that these drugs did absolutely no good whatsoever.
People given these drugs had 48% more cancer ( 105 cases versus 70 cases ).
People given these drugs had 64% more cancer deaths ( 39 deaths versus 23 deaths ).
( This is the 3rd video highlight from this paper. )
The paper claimed that the increased incidence of cancer was “unexpected”…
… but this is not true.
Cancer has been associated with cholesterol-lowering drugs for at least 20 years.
(Since at least the late 1980’s.)
In people given these drugs, there were…
5 times as many cases of Stomach Cancer…
4 times as many cases of Pancreatic Cancer…
2.1 times as many cases of Skin Cancer…
1.6 times as many cases of Breast Cancer…
1.6 times as many cases of Prostate Cancer.
Overall, these drugs increased the risk of cancer by 48%.
How many people would take a statin if they knew this?
