This includes DHEA (another steroid hormone). It should NOT be taken orally either because it converts to estrogen. In another audio clip he mentions that there is one exception to this rule and that is with progesterone. He says that for some women, taking half their progesterone orally and the other half applied inside the labia or inside the vagina (transmucosal administration), the oral dose goes to the liver and some of it is converted into naturally-occuring tranquilizers which help women sleep, help them if they are feeling anxious, and can help them with PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome).
