“Dr. [William] O’Neill says he has prescribed hydroxychloroquine to help numerous coronavirus patients, and saw improvement in all of them,” Sharyl Attkisson noted on her television show, Full Measure.
William O’Neill, MD is a cardiologist and medical director at the Henry Ford Health System which has six (6) hospitals in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. O’Neill was one of the coauthors of the study (article posted here) which analyzed 2,541 COVID-19 patients hospitalized between March 10, 2020 and May 2, 2020 across Henry Ford Health System’s six (6) hospitals, and found that patients given hydroxychloroquine alone were 66% less likely to die than patients who were not given the drug; those given hydroxychloroquine plus azithromycin were 71% less likely to die.
