Giving women bio-identical progesterone along with estrogen (and testosterone and DHEA) is VERY important notes Jonathan Wright, MD.
Dr. Wright also notes that he always tries to copy nature, copying the amount of each hormone is naturally in a young woman’s body, and copying when these hormones are released during a woman’s monthly cycle also, some being released only during the first 25 days of a 30 days cycle; some being released during the last half of her cycle, and others being release throughout the cycle.
He says we should always try to copy nature.
Note: Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is NOT progesterone, and does NOT belong in women’s bodies, Dr. Wright notes elsewhere.
Dr. Wright also writes about in his book that Provera (medroxyprogesterone) was found to cause most of the problems associated with conventional hormone replacement.
