People died of Covid-19 because the FDA restricted hydroxychloroquine according to Stephen Smith, MD, an infectious disease specialist from New Jersey.
Dr. Smith notes that the 2400 mg cumulative dose [over 5 days] that the FDA had recommended is a “ridiculously low dose”.
He says that “even the 6,000 mg [cumulative] dose over 10 days is still not a large dose.”
He says, “I don’t know how [FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn, MD] could have botched this any worse.”
